An attack was laid on Friday evening by suspected bandits on the people of Dada village in Zamfara State.
According to Daily Trust, many people was kill in the attack and cattle were carted away with.
A resident identified as Ali Shuaibuwho who spoke to the Newspaper outlet on Saturday said that some unknown in motorbikes attacked them and started firing at resident.
He said, “The armed men came on motorbikes and asked all the residents to remain indoors. Some of the residents got killed when they were trying to escape the assault.
“I can’t tell you the exact number of those killed. The criminals fled after security operatives arrived at the community. We are now searching the surrounding bushes for bodies.
Some of the residents are still missing. They might be hiding inside forest. We are still counting losses.”
