A six (6) year old girl identified as Courage has finally been release after she was abducted by kidnappers in Abraka, Delta State. HGS Media Plus reports.
The incident happened on Monday, December 28 in Abraka, Delta State.
According to report gathered by HGS Media Plus, the victim was sent on an errand on that same Monday evening around 5pm, but did not return back home.
It was also gathered that on Tuesday, December 29, the parents received a call from the kidnappers asking them for a ransom of Eight Hundred Thousand Naira, (N800,000)
HGS Media Plus learnt that the Parents of the girl raise the money, but the money was seized by the bank because the account were the money was deposited was a student account.
This angered the kidnappers and as a result, they increased the ransom and asked the parents to paid the sum of N1.5 million.
On the 31st of December, 2020, the parents were able to raise the money. they travelled to Benin where the drop point was as instructed by the kidnappers and paid the kidnappers.
The victim was returned home on Saturday, January 2, 2021 after the ransom was paid.
According to the victim, she was thrown near a police station at night the same day the parents paid the money in Benin.
She was rescued by some policemen in the police station who brought home to her parents.
