2021 Uganda Election: Yoweri Museveni Declared Winner For The Sixth Time

The Electoral Commission have declared President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni the winner of the Presidential Election in Uganda. HGS Media Plus reports.

The announcement was made known by a Uganda TV via it’s Twitter handle on Saturday, January 16 2021.

Yoweri was declared winner after beating Robert Kyagulanyi (Bobi Wine) who had a total vote of 3,475,298, 34.83% with a vote of 5,851,037, 58.64% including other candidates.

However, it is said that Bobi Wine rejected the results due to possible voter fraud as he declares himself, President-Elect.

Meanwhile, Yoweri will be sworn in on the 12 of May 2021 as the President of Uganda for the sixth time.
