Lady Beaten After Being Caught Sending Fake Bank Alert In Edo State (photos, video)

A lady was mercilessly beaten in Edo State after being caught sending fake bank alert to a shop owner who she purchased some items from. HGS Media Plus reports.

The incident happened on Wednesday morning, December 2, 2020.

According to report, the lady sent a fake bank alert to a shop owner after she had finished purchasing items from the shop worth 3,000 naira.

HGS Media Plus learnt that the shop owner didn’t receive any credit bank alert after a long wait and as a result, it turned into a quarrel between the lady and the owner.

It was also learnt that the quarrel attracted onlookers who walked into the shop to know what was going on, only for them to find out that the lady in question has been caught before in the act of sending fake alert.

Consequently, she was beaten mercilessly until she confessed to the crime.

Report also gathered that the lady was a student of the Benson Idahosa University, Benin city, Edo State.
