The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Mazi Nnamdi Kanu reacted to the attack of a medical doctor at Ogoja area of Cross River State. HGS Media Plus reports.
HGS Media Plus earlier reported that one Dr. Njoku, a Medical officer at TBL hospital was attack by suspected Fulani Herdsmen on Sunday night, 13 December.
Nnamdi who reacted via his twitter handle on Monday had earlier set up a security unit, Eastern Security Network, (ESN) to protect the Old Eastern region from terrorist group.
According to him, the security unit is met to cover all the boundaries starting from Igodomigo to Iron, Bakkasi to Igala and Izon to Ogoja.
While reacting to the incident, he quoted the doctor and wrote:
“I was shot by some Fulani herdsmen who wanted to kidnap me at Ogoja. I ran to a nearby school but the gate was locked. I crawled through a gutter into the compound and made calls.

“Two days ago we launched the EASTERN SECURITY NETWORK (ESN) to tackle the menace of Fulani terrorism, banditry, kidnapping, extra-judicial executions & state sponsored lawlessness. Nigeria is officially a failed state, only regional security outfits like ESN can save the people”
