Man Shot Dead By Civil Defense Officer In Abia State (Disturbing Photos)

HGS Media Plus reports that one Mr Onyedikachi Atuwa from Umoukpo village in Akalaba in Obingwa LGA of Abia State was shot to death by a civil defense officer.

HGS Media Plus learnt that Mr Atuwa was killed on Tuesdays, 8th, September 2020 for refusing a civil defense officer to pass through his house due to the bad road of Aba Ikot Ekpene.

According to reports, the civil defense officer who was said to be a security personnel to a certain foreign heading to Akwa Ibom State wanted to pass through the deceased house due to the flood on the road but he refused insisting that he follows the main road and that his father’s compound was not a main road.

An eyewitness revealed that the officer came down from the vehicle, pointed a gun at him and shot him three times leading to his death.

The youth of the community was said to have protested with the corpse.

Mr Atuwa is survived by his wife and three children.
