78 Confirmed Dead As Explosion Rocks Beirut, Lebanon’s Capital

At least 78 people has been confirmed dead in the explosion that hit the capital city of Lebanon, Beirut on Tuesday evening, August 4, 2020.

The explosion which shook the entire city left thousands injured and 78 confirmed dead according to the New York Times.

The massive explosion according to report shattered glasses and destroyed nearby buildings and cars in the process.

The cause of the explosion is yet to be ascertained as at the time of filing this report.

This is a heart breaking moment for the people of Beirut.
