An alleged drunk driver has ran into an electric pole and a shop while is was rushing home to beat curfew yesterday night at around 10:47pm at Ojuelegba in Lagos State.
HGS Media Plus learnt that the driver who was carrying two other passengers was over speeding in the quest to beat the curfew when he accidentally ran into a pole and the shop.
The incident was said to have happened at 22 ishaga road by mabo junction off Ojuelegba surulere, Lagos State.
The identity of the driver and the two passengers could not be ascertain as at the time of filing this report.
The driver is currently receiving treatment at this Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, (Luth) while the two other passengers sustained serious injuries.
HGS Media Plus also learnt that properties were destroyed in the shop alongside the electricity pole due to the cause of the speed the driver was on.
