Elderly Women Seen Carrying Cutlass Against Threat From Robbers In Lagos

The recent robbery attacks amidst the coronavirus lockdown has taken it’s toll on many Lagosian since the lockdown order by the Federal Government.

Recall there have been series of reports from Lagosian following recent treats from a robbery group called “1 Million Boys” in their communities.

Apparently, Some elderly women in Iba Estate have taken it upon themselves to protect their communities by arming themselves with cutlass.

As seen in a video, the women are carrying cutlass walking around their street while some are sitting down observing the environment.

Recall, President, Muhammedu Buhari had recently extended the lockdown in the country to additional 14 days so as to control the spread of the COVID-19 virus.

The extension had raised complains from Nigerians and even leading to rioting in the streets of Lagos.
