Gospel Singer, Lanre Teriba Attacked By Gunmen, Condition Unstable In Lagos Hospital

Popular Nigerian Gospel artist, Lanre Teriba also called Atorise sustained a serious injury to the head in an attack in Lagos on weekend by some suspected herdsmen.

An eye witness gave account about the incident that happened on Saturday night at the Berger end of the Lagos/Ibadan expressway while he was returning from engagement.


It was said that the unknown gunmen attacked the musician while he was returning from a wedding ceremony where he went to entertain guest.

Atorise, who is currently receiving treatment in a Lagos hospital sustained a severe injury in the back head and neck

Atorise, who spoke to ThePage, Tosin Faleye, said his being alive is a miracle, informing that he was only revived to life after he was rushed to the hospital from the scene of the incident.

He also said he had earlier passed out as a result of the devastating effect of the deadly weapon unleashed in him by his attackers who actually left him lifeless until God took control

HGS Media Plus recall that the gospel singer just released a song he titled “Why The Killings”, where he lamented the state of insecurity in the country.
