Five patients who tested positive to the COVID-19 virus has been discharged from from the Infectious Disease Hospital after treatment and multiple testing by Lagos State specialists.
The Lagos State Governor, Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu disclosed the information on his twitter handle on Monday afternoon to congratulate the patients and his health team.
“I am excited to announce some positive news ahead of our lockdown.
We have just discharged 5 formerly positve COVID19 patients from our Infectious Disease Hospital after treatment and multiple testing by our specialists.
Congratulations to the healthcare team and the patients”.
Meanwhile the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, (NCDC) recently confirmed 14 new cases of the COVID-19 on Sunday night at about 9:30pm, 29 March.
