The G.O of city of God rest ministry, Pastor Destiny Eguavoen, was beaten by youths of Urora, in Edo state.
According to ITV news, the pastor was beaten for refusing to stop church service at 8am.
Which was the same time for the community annual ikpoleki festival.
Chief Ugiagbe Aiwaguore, the chief priest of the community, ordered everyone to stay indoors during the festival.
All churches in the community were asked to end their sunday services before the time of the festival.
Unfortunately, Pastor Eguavoen who flouted this order, got the shock of his life.
The youths stormed his church and beat him up.
